I love these bavette steaks. They're a perfect size for my Wife and I to share one. We use a sous vide and just throw one in straight from the freezer. 3 hours later I season it and throw it on the grill for a quick sear.

The Bavette steak was terrific! I marinated it with my homemade marinade. I panfried the steak to medium rare and it was outrageous!
Nicely packed for shipping, arrived as promised. I am very pleased with the bavette steaks. I have always loved a good skirt steak, and the bavette appears to be an upgrade I was previously unaware of. Good flavor!
The ground beef is very good, as well. I do wish you offered a 90/10 as well as the 80/20. I like my beef on the rare side, and the fat aftertaste lingers a little with the 80/20. Still not bad, though.
Do you have any plans to offer a Strip Loin Roast any time soon? I love a good Choice New York steak but like to cut them somewhat thicker than is usually offered when buying an individual steak.
I really love these bavette steaks from 44. I think the key is the proper buthering of this cut. I have had bavette from other places that had excessive amount of fat. These bavette steaks from 44 steaks are excellent. Tender and delicious. Just simple seasoning of salt,, pepper, and garlic powder. That's it. Follow their cooking instructions from website, you cant go wrong. Just ordered a bundle to try other cuts. Can't wait.
MY LATEST ORDER
I recently ordered some beef products. So far I have only tasted the uncured angus beef franks, delicious!
My major concern here is frozen product protection during shipping. This shipment had no protection of product so it would not slam into each other during shipment. This is so typical of all on line shippers of frozen product! The shipper does NOT take the time to ensure that products do not destroy the integrity of the vacuum packaging. Plastic is compromised creating a hole in the package. If you do not notice it when put into freezer, freezer burn is your enemy. I am tired of this. Three products had this damage. Luckily for me I have a vacuum sealer.

Hamburger is good. The bavette is chewy. I marinated it, and it was still tough. Next time, I am going to soak it with baking soda. Has a good taste. Have not tried the sirloin. Do you have suggestions for the Bavette, Would be happy to hear them.
